Lion’s Mane is a spectacular looking mushroom. Log grown Lion’s Mane is sweet and savory. Usually a little slower to fruit on logs, expect logs to flush a year or two after inoculation. Birch and maple are favorite wood species for Lion’s Mane to grow on although it can grow on other species of trees.
