Plug spawn is commonly used to inoculate hardwood logs. Logs are typically 40-48 inches and 4 to 6 inches in diameter. 50 plugs will inoculate one log. We recommend using a rubber mallet to seat the plugs (if needed). All holes should be sealed with bees wax or paraffin wax!
