When your last monotub run finishes, the Dung Lover Substrate Mono Tub Refill Kit gives you a clean slate without rebuying a full setup. Two 5 lb bags of Grow More Matrix coco coir substrate pair with a 3 lb sterile grain bag so you can take the next grow from injection to fruiting in one restock.
The grain bag ships sterilized and sealed with a self-healing injection port. Inject your spores or liquid culture straight through the port, let the grain colonize, then mix the colonized grain into the substrate in your tub. It's a simple, low-tek workflow built for home growers.

A built-in injection port
The grain bag's self-healing injection port lets you inoculate with a liquid culture or spore syringe without opening the bag. Sanitize the port, insert the needle, and inject — the port seals behind the needle to help protect the grain during colonization.

Use the two substrate bags for a typical monotub setup, or fruit right in a grow bag — add fully colonized grain spawn to the substrate, mix, let it colonize, and fruit in the bag.

How to use your refill kit
Inject
Sanitize the injection port, then inject your spore or liquid culture syringe into the 3 lb grain bag.
Colonize
Let the grain fully colonize at an appropriate temperature until white mycelium runs through the bag.
Refill
Add the colonized grain to your monotub and mix in the two 5 lb Grow More Matrix substrate bags.
Fruit
Let the substrate colonize, then introduce fruiting conditions in your tub.
