Hardy and beautiful, many cultivators believe Pearls to be a warm weather strain, although we have no trouble growing them alongside our Blue and Yellow Oysters indoors. Take a walk in the forest during the summer months and you just may happen to stumble across these delicious mushrooms. Oyster mushrooms fruit best at 55-70 degrees Fahrenheit, require ample amounts of fresh air exchange (FAE) and a humidity of 85-95%. Our strains can yield a few pounds per 5 lb block, easily flushing two to three times. Ready-to-Fruit Blocks, grain spawn, sawdust spawn, and colonized cultures are available. If you don’t see it on here, feel free to ask!

Types Of Spawn:

Grain Spawn - Provides the nutritional value needed for sawdust blocks or straw to fruit prolifically. All of our spawn bags are 1st generation ensuring you will have hearty and healthy mushrooms! Check out our Ready to Fruit Blocks to see what this spawn can do!

Sawdust Spawn - Used to pack full holes drilled in logs and sealed with wax similar to plug spawn. Can be used to inoculate sawdust bags, although they routinely take significantly longer to incubate.

Plug Spawn - Using a quarter inch dill bit, holes are drilled into a hardwood log. The plugs are then pounded into the log and sealed with wax. After allowing to incubate several months - wah-lah! mushrooms! Typically logs produce from Spring to Fall
