Our Mushroom Culture Plates are pure mycelium cultures derived from our master culture slants, isolated on nutrient-rich PDA (potato dextrose agar) and poured in a 100mm sterile dish, labeled by strain. Each plate offers a clean, vigorous starting point for advanced mushroom cultivation — ideal for growers looking to make grain spawn, liquid culture, or additional plates.
Stored at ideal temperatures, our cultures are carefully maintained to prevent senescence and preserve vigorous mycelial growth, ensuring consistent results for hobbyists and professionals alike. Plates have a shelf life of approximately 6 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight — no refrigeration needed.
Note: working with mycelium cultures requires basic lab skills and sterile technique to prevent contamination.
