The Yellow Oyster is the showpiece of the oyster family — golden, funnel-shaped caps that fruit in dense, luminous clusters. Delicate and fast-growing, this warm-weather strain offers a nutty, slightly citrusy flavor and a tender texture that shines when quickly sautéed.
Each kit is a fully-colonized 10 lb commercial block — twice the size of store-bought kits — and produces two to four pounds of mushrooms over multiple flushes. Yellow Oysters prefer warmth and humidity, so keep the block in a spot with indirect light, fresh air, and daily misting. Ready to fruit in 7–14 days.
